Niki Graduates from FSU

Symbolic Seminole Brave with Flaming Spear in front of FSU. Students rally around this landmark on special occasions. Graduation 2008 is a special occasion -- at least for us!!
We were so excited and proud to receive the announcement of our granddaughter’s graduation from Florida State University!!
(Niki is the daughter of Ken's daughter, Vickie, and her husband, Steve.)
The family gathered for the auspicious occasion!! We spent a wonderful weekend together.
Niki's Uncle Mike and Aunt Stacey came from Virginia and Tampa. They were exhausted!!

Graduation took place promptly at 7:30 PM. in the Tallahassee Civic Center. We were in the "nose bleed" seats.
There were 1200 graduates.
There is Niki in the 5th row, right side, a few seats in from the aisle. We proudly watched and cheered as her name was called and she crossed the stage with such confidence -- ready to take on the world!
